Novice Blacksmith Class Starts May 14th
Level 1—Getting Started: This is an 8-week course taught by Dan Jennings in Chandler. This course is geared to the beginning smith. It focuses on developing the essential skills of Blacksmithing at the Anvil. Included will be: hammer control, safety, tapers, slitting, drifting, punching, twisting, bending, and upsetting and tool making. No power tools will be used.

Pieh Tool Classes
Pieh Tool offers monthly blacksmithing classes through the Bill Pieh Resource for Metalwork with Gordon Williams. Classes are geared to beginner, intermediate and advanced students.

Need Coal?
Joe Hernandez is preparing to order a truckload of West Virginia coal. It will be in 50 # bags for easy handling. The coal will be delivered to Joe's shop in Marana sometime in February. A fork lift will be available for loading.
Cost: approximately $15.00 per bag.
